1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using BeSaved ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

BeSaved is a professional bookmark management platform that allows users to:

• Save and organize bookmarks across multiple projects
• Access bookmarks through web application, Chrome extension, and desktop apps
• Share bookmarks and projects with team members
• Integrate with Gmail for email-to-bookmark functionality
• Use AI-powered features for organization and tagging

3. User Accounts

To use BeSaved, you must create an account using Google authentication. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use BeSaved only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Store or share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate any intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service to spam, harass, or abuse others
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
• Use automated tools to access the service without permission

5. Gmail Integration Terms

When using our Gmail integration feature:

• You grant us permission to access emails sent to your designated bookmark addresses
• We will convert email content into permanent bookmarks stored in your account
• Email content becomes bookmark content and is stored as long as you keep the bookmark
• You can delete individual bookmarks created from emails at any time
• You can revoke Gmail access at any time through your user settings
• Our access is limited to the specific Gmail API scopes listed in our Privacy Policy
• We comply with Google's Gmail API Services User Data Policy

6. Content and Data

You retain ownership of all content you store in BeSaved. By using our service, you grant us a license to:

• Store and process your bookmarks to provide the service
• Create backups for data protection
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the service (anonymized)

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable laws.

7. API Usage

If you use our API:

• You must use valid API tokens for authentication
• Rate limits apply to prevent service abuse
• You may not share your API tokens with unauthorized parties
• We may terminate API access for violations of these terms

8. Sharing and Collaboration

When sharing bookmarks or projects:

• You are responsible for the content you share
• Shared content must comply with these terms
• You control who has access to your shared content
• We are not responsible for how others use your shared content

9. Service Availability

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee that the service will be:

• Available at all times without interruption
• Error-free or free of harmful components
• Secure from unauthorized access

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeSaved shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or bookmarks
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Service interruptions
• Unauthorized access to your account

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• You may: Delete your account through the user settings
• We may: Terminate accounts that violate these terms

Upon termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period before it is permanently deleted.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

• Posting the new terms on this page
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending email notification for material changes

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where BeSaved operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
